Nic Monisse

Design Editor, Monocle

Australian-born and London-based, Nic Monisse is the design editor at Monocle – a globally-minded, design-led magazine.

Nic’s beat includes editing Monocle’s design pages and newsletter, and presenting Monocle On Design, a weekly 30-minute radio show and podcast. It’s a role that sees him cross the globe – from the UK to the USA and UAE – to report on the work of the world's leading designers, architects, graphic specialists and furniture makers.

Nic’s passionate about design and loves to tell the stories of people and their relationships to the places they love and the objects they live with. He studied landscape architecture and presents at design galas and festivals, and has hosted documentaries on urbanism.

Nic is also an award-winning stand-up comedian, with a mercurial presentation style, that bursts with energy and wit.
